ASIST Workshop: January 2 and 3, 2019


ASIST (Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training) is two-day (15 hour) interactive workshop that teaches how to intervene and save a life from suicide. Over one million people have taken the workshop. Most people thinking about suicide don’t actually want to die, but they need help deciding to stay alive. You don’t need any prior training to attend ASIST – just a willingness to make a difference.

You will receive a workbook, wallet card and a certificate upon completion of the workshop.

Times: 8:45 am to 4:45 pm (Please make arrangements to be present for the entire workshop and to arrive between 8:30 am and 8:45 am for both days of the workshop. This is a suicide first aid intervention workshop and attendance is an essential to learn how to be ready, willing and able to help a person with thoughts of suicide and to receive a certificate.)
